Copper bar production process

1. Rolling - saw cutting method

Technological process is: the ingot heating - hot rolled - (milling, cold rolling, annealing, surface - cutting) pickling, cold rolling, sawing, edge horn processing - all finishing straightening length, packaging, warehousing. The characteristics of copper bar performance index can be well controlled, but there are flying edge and rapid chip pressing, corner is not rounded, the surface is not smooth, the width tolerance is large, can not meet the requirements of high precision, high production cost.

2. Rolling - stretch method

Technological process is: the ingot heating - hot - milling surface - cold rolling, cutting, annealing, pickling, stretch, finishing straightening length, packaging, warehousing. The quality index can be well controlled, the production cost is low, but the copper bar shear flaking and tolerance is difficult to control.

3. Profile rolling method

Process flow is: the iron red ingot mould - hot (temperature) rolling, annealing, pickling, pickling, roughing profile, finishing material, finishing straightening length, packaging, warehousing. The performance index of copper bar can be well controlled, and the production cost is large with more rolls.

4. Squeeze and stretch

The process flow is: ingot heating - extrusion - stretching - annealing - pickling - stretching - finishing and straightening all fixed size - packaging - storage. Annealing and pickling processes are added in this process to ensure the 180° bending performance of copper bar and control the quality index. Simple process, high efficiency, large production capacity, but the production cost is also large.

5. Up-lead (or horizontal) continuous casting - rolling - stretching method

The production process of copper bar manufacturer is: up-lead (or horizontal) continuous casting -- cold rolling -- annealing -- pickling -- stretching -- finishing and straightening -- all fixed size -- packaging -- storage. It is characterized by simple process and low production cost. But the performance index is not as good as other methods, the specification is restricted, the efficiency is low, the capacity is small.
