Brass flat wire refers to the state of brass processing into flat line, generally speaking, brass flat wire has good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, in the atmosphere and fresh water with high corrosion resistance, good plasticity, easy to cold pressing and hot pressing processing, easy to weld, forging and tin plating, no stress corrosion cracking tendency. Tinned copper clad steel wire refers to copper coated steel wire, that is, the composite wire with copper layer around the wire. It makes use of the skin effect of low-voltage high-frequency signal to walk along the surface in the high-frequency area, so as long as the thickness of the copper layer reaches a certain range, the signal of a certain frequency segment can be guaranteed to be transmitted. The copper carries weak electrical signals, and the steel wire supports them. Brass flat wire has good mechanical properties, good thermal plasticity, good cutting performance, weldability, corrosion resistance, suitable for all kinds of deep drawing and bending parts, such as pins, nuts, barometer springs, heat dissipation, rings and so on. Brass alloy, zinc as the main additive element, yellow, collectively referred to as brass.

Copper-zinc binary alloys are called plain brass or simple brass. Brass more than three dimensions is called special brass or compound brass. Brass alloys with zinc content less than 36% are composed of solid solutions and have good cold working properties. For example, 30% zinc brass is commonly used to make shells commonly called shell brass or 73 brass. Brass alloys with zinc content between 36% and 42% are composed of solid solutions, the most commonly used being 64 brass with zinc content of 40%. In order to improve the performance of ordinary brass, aluminum, nickel, manganese, tin, silicon and lead are often added. Aluminum can improve the strength, hardness and corrosion resistance of brass, but reduce the plasticity, suitable for Marine condenser tube and other corrosion resistant parts. Tin improves the strength and corrosion resistance of brass, so it is known as naval brass and is used as Marine thermal equipment and propellers. Lead improves the cutting properties of brass, a free-cutting brass commonly used in watch parts. Brass castings are commonly used to make valves and fittings.
