Treatment of copper products after oxidation

Processing methods for restoring original brightness and other properties of copper after oxidation:  

If copper bar conditions are required, such as too many dimensions that cannot be changed, the oxide can only be removed from the surface of the copper using chemical methods.  Chemical methods can be used to clean the copper cleaning agent MS0217, remove the oxide on the surface of the copper parts, restore the surface finish of the copper parts.  

If the copper part is not surface demanding and size demanding (the surface of the copper bar is heavily oxidized in the image above), the surface oxide problem can be solved by physical polishing.  Physical polishing is done by using a polishing wheel.  Physical polishing, polishing, etc. to remove oxides from the surface of copper parts.  The disadvantages of this method are complex operation, large size change of copper parts, complex surface structure of copper parts can not be machined;  After cleaning and polishing the copper material, restore the original color.  

Copper oxide rusted after the simple treatment method - chemical method of the main process: first degreasing and deoxidation cleaning treatment (copper cleaning agent MS0217) → water washing → copper chemical polishing treatment (copper chemical polishing solution) MS0308-2→ bronze protection treatment.  The copper treated in this way can restore the original gloss of the copper (even brighter) and prevent further oxidation to keep the copper shiny as new.  

If the surface brightness of the copper piece is very high and the size requirements are strict, even though the copper piece is still a complex structure, it needs to be treated with a chemical polishing process.  Copper based environmental protection polishing liquid MS0308 is used for chemical polishing, the surface of copper bar can achieve mirror luster effect.
