When storing copper materials, the following items must be noted
1. Copper shall be stored in clean and dry warehouses according to composition and brand, and shall not be stored with acid, alkali and salt materials
2. Copper, such as damp in transport, dry with cloth or dry in the sun after stacking
3. The warehouse should be ventilated and the humidity and temperature in the warehouse should be adjusted. It is generally required that the temperature in the warehouse should be kept at 15~30 ℃ and the relative humidity should be kept at about 40%~80%
4. Electrolytic copper can not be mixed with rubber and other acid-proof materials because of unwashed residual electrolytes
5. As the copper is soft, it should be avoided to pull, drag or fall, throw, knock or touch when handling and stacking, so as not to damage or injure the surface
6. If rust is found, use linen or copper wire brush to wipe off, do not use steel wire brush, in order to avoid scratching the surface. It should not be oiled
7. For wire, no matter the weight of rust, in principle, will not carry out rust removal or oiling. If it is contaminated with rust, it can be removed without affecting the wire diameter requirements, and wrapped with moisture-proof paper
8. Serious corrosion, in addition to rust, but also isolated storage, and should not be stored for a long time. If rust cracks are found, they should be removed from the storage immediately.
